HGV Class 2 Driver - Nottingham People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Nottingham . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position. This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver or Truck Driver . Rates of Pay: £15.33 per hour Shift Pattern: As an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will work: Monday to Friday Start times between 06:30 and 07:30 Benefits: Your benefits as an HGV Class 2 Driver are: Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift No weekend work Opportunity to secure a permanent position Opportunity to work bank holidays (paid at the standard hourly rate) Canteen facilities Free on-site parking Weekly pay Day-to-Day Duties: Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are: Multidrop deliveries to commercial and residential locations Driving a curtain-sided vehicle Operating a tail lift and delivering palletised goods Assisting with handballing when required Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently Ensuring all loads are safe and secure Completing any necessary paperwork Essential Skills: To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need: To be comfortable with early starts A minimum of twelve months' previous Class 2 driving experience A valid UK Category C Driving Licence A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points for minor infringements No major endorsement codes Training: As an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will receive: Industry-related training Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver , apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
