Location: Brixham, TQ5 8AW Pay: £14.87 per hour Shift: Starting at 17:00 Shift Length: Approximately 1012 hours Job Type: Ongoing work We are currently recruiting Fish Packing Operatives to join a busy seafood operation in Brixham. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving the packing and preparation of fresh fish and seafood products. Duties & Responsibilities: Packing octopus and fish into trays Adding ice to packed products Moving and handling fish trays and boxes Heavy lifting and manual handling Maintaining a clean and organised working area Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures Working efficiently as part of a team Carrying out other general fish-processing duties as required About You: Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting Comfortable working in a cold environment Able to work on your feet for extended periods Reliable, hardworking and punctual Good attention to detail Able to work as part of a team Previous fish-processing, factory or packing experience is an advantage, but training may be provided Please note: This role involves handling dead fish and seafood , working with ice and spending extended periods in a cold environment. The work can be physically demanding.
