Our client is looking for an experienced Bartender to join a busy Italian restaurant team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the bar is maintained to the highest standards.
Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mix cocktails and beverages using standard recipes
- Pour and serve beer, wine, spirits, and soft drinks
- Check customer identification and ensure compliance with licensing regulations
- Manage cash transactions, card payments, and customer tabs accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, counters, and glassware
- Restock alcohol, ice, garnishes, and bar supplies as required
- Recommend drinks and menu items to enhance the customer experience
- Deliver friendly, professional service in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Good level of English
- Previous bartending experience required
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers
- Reliable, energetic, and team-oriented
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
