CDS Group Services Ltd is a 60m nationwide main contractor, shopfitter and manufacturer based in Romsey.
We welcome applicants who are outcome driven and have excellent people skills.
We are currently looking to recruit two experienced Site Managers on a Full Time basis who are based in the South of England.
The Site Manager must have experience in shopfitting and be willing to travel.
Business needs will dictate working hours, site opening times tend to be 7am – 7pm / 7.30am – 7.30pm Monday – Sunday.
The Primary Outcomes of the Site Manager:
- Customer Satisfaction

- Deliver efficiently to programme
- Achieve zero defects
The Key Responsibilities for the Site Manager:
- Ownership of overall site safety.
- Deliver operations to Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Deliver project to programme and on time.
- Responsibility for sub-contractor and operative attendance.
- Aim for defect free delivery.
- Carry out own site audits.
- Be responsible for chasing outstanding information from external and internal customers.
- Constant communication with colleagues and customers.
- Ensure a safe working environment and deliver TBT’s.
- Customer relationship management.
- Timely management of material and plant resources required.
- Issue of daily near misses.
- Proper recording and reporting of any site issues.
- Completion and uploading of all site paperwork.
The Experience Required of the Site Manager:
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Fire Marshal
- Asbestos Awareness
- PASMA, IPAF, NVQ (preferred but not essential)
- CSCS Card
- Drivers Licence
- Willing to travel
- People and resource management skills
- Commercially astute
- Outcome driven
- Adaptable to IT systems
- Good knowledge of all trades
- Multi-skilled in various trades
- Taking responsibility
