The Systems Engineer will join a strong team who ensure the stable operation of the organisation\’s Infrastructure. This includes maintaining, supporting, deploying and optimising key functional areas with a focus on security. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for resolving support requests in a timely and accurate fashion, as well as provide recommendations and guidance on future architectural and technology improvements that impacts business performance and costs.
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years\’ experience or a related educational qualification
- Strong technical mindset with a desire to learn
- An understanding of the modern-day security challenges in IT
- A strong working knowledge of hardware and networking components
- The ability to work unsupervised with strong self-motivation
- Experience with scripting and automation
- Experience with virtualization platforms
- Experience using SIEM platforms
- Experience with EDR and vulnerability scanning
- Knowledge of Windows Servers and Azure Cloud
Desirable:
- Experience with ITIL, PCI and GDPR
- Driving Licence
- Programming experience with PowerShell, C# and\\or Python
