We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Support Specialist II to join our data centre operations team in a secure banking environment. This is a hands-on role focused on cabling, hardware installation and operational support, primarily based at our Lewisham site, with occasional assistance in Docklands if required.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing, terminating and testing data centre cabling (CAT-6/6A, fibre – 9/125 & 50/125).
  • Racking and configuring management interfaces for HPE and Dell servers.
  • Racking and installing network devices such as Cisco and Arista switches (physical installation only).
  • Supporting IMAC-D activities and escorting external engineers.
  • Managing and updating tasks within ServiceNow.
  • Providing clear, professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and problem-solving under pressure.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of HPE ProLiant and Dell server hardware.
  • Proven experience in a data centre cabling environment.
  • Good understanding of ESD, Health & Safety, and best-practice working methods.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and ServiceNow.
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm, team-focused approach.

Working hours: Monday–Friday 14:00–22:00, with alternate Saturdays covered and time off in lieu.

Primary location: Lewisham, SE London. Occasional support: Docklands (as required). Security vetting required (role-specific).
