About the Team
The Marketing & Communications function’s purpose is to Protect & Enhance CDP’s Brand, Connecting People to the Purpose through Storytelling, to Drive Sustainable Growth.
The Marketing team is responsible for building and stewarding CDP’s brand, developing and delivering campaigns that generate leads and drive audience action to meet organisational objectives, and maintaining high-performance engagement across digital channels.
About this Role
The Senior CRM Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, creating and sending emails to our diverse audience base, driving critical action and engagement.
What you will do
- Build, implement and evaluate email marketing activity in response to internal briefs and campaign requirements using relevant systems, including D365.
- Ensure that email copy is accurate, on-brand, effective and salient for its audience, through a combination of writing from scratch, providing support and guidance to other teams, proofreading and copy-editing.
Ensure adherence with tone of voice and brand guidelines.
- Work with teams internally to ensure information in emails is accurate, up to date and received by the most salient audience.
- Work with other teams to ensure the relevant stakeholders are aware of external comms.
- Build and maintain subject matter expertise on D365 Marketing and CDP’s use of it. Train others to use D365 to set up and send emails.
- Develop understanding of CDP’s audiences, their requirements and what resonates with them.
- Develop understanding of CDP’s CRM data architecture.
- Maintain awareness of email calendar and other external comms.
- Create and use complex segments and customer journeys in D365 based on best practice and requirements.
- Work with colleagues across Marketing to identify, implement and evaluate opportunities to run A/B tests.
- Evaluate the performance of email marketing activity, recommend and implement improvements.
- Work with the team to suggest improvements to processes and approaches.

We're looking for
- Experience of delivering complex B2B email marketing campaigns within a global organization that communicates in multiple languages.
- Experience of using CRM systems independently.
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues within CRM
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships and communicate findings clearly.
- Ability to work as part of a busy team with multiple stakeholders and adapt to changing requirements
- Excellent attention to detail.
Salary and benefits : The salary banding for this role is £32,157 - £40,197/year, 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension provision, Employee Assistance Programme, life assurance, training and development, flexible working opportunities and other benefits.
Final offer amount depends on multiple factors such as candidates experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data.
This is a permanent role based at CDP’s London office.
Interested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK and live within a commutable distance of the London office and be comfortable with 2 days in the office per week.
