CDP is a global non-profit that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system. Partnering with leaders in enterprise, capital, policy and science, we surface the information needed to enable Earth-positive decisions.

The Product team defines the product roadmap, prioritization and requirements for their product or product portfolio. We work very closely with Data and Engineering to deliver the products using an agile framework.

The Senior Content Designer will be responsible for creating content for the CDP Portal and other digital touch points for both internal and external users. This role will work closely with designers, engineers, marketing, questionnaire and translation teams. This role will support consistent content across the business, high-quality multilingual customer experiences, and product adoption among key stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Prioritise when, where and how to support cross-functional squads across multiple work streams.
  • Deliver content and ensure engineers have what they need to implement it.
  • Enhance our users' experiences through user testing and evidence-based improvements.
  • Align with other content-producing functions (our marketing and questionnaire teams) to create clear, concise, complete and consistent content across the business.
  • Work with translators to ensure customers have the same great experience across the eight languages we operate in.
  • Help the business simplify how we talk about climate change science and our methodology by testing content with real users and supporting teams to adapt their communication based on your findings.
  • Support adoption of the product among key stakeholders through coordinating communications, training sessions, documentation, and support.

Stakeholders:

  • Internal: Product, Customer Success, Revenue, Disclosure Content, Marketing and Communications, Finance, Legal, Growth, and Policy
  • External: Companies (Disclosers, Requestors), Financial Institutions, Governments (Cities and States and Regions), Indices, NGOs, and Academics

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Content Designer
  • Experience testing with real users to check how ideas work in practice
  • Coaching and teaching others to upskill them in content design to enable better decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels
  • Knowledge or interest in environmental and/or sustainability space is advantageous

Salary and benefits:

The salary banding for this role is £53,600 - £67,000 per year, plus 30 days of holiday plus bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension, Employee Assistance Programme, life assurance, training and development, flexible working opportunities and other benefits.

This is a fixed term role for 12 months (maternity cover) based at CDP’s London office. Eligible to work in the UK and able to commute to the London office with 2 days in the office per week. We cannot sponsor this role.
