We are currently working with an award-winning building services consultant based in Central London and due to a recent increase in their workload, we are looking for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of an HNC/HND or degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Additionally, the candidate should be working towards Chartership, with at least 5 years design and project experience.

Applicants will need to have the motivation to work independently and alongside other disciplines to produce coordinated high-quality designs. Consideration of design principles in line with the Client brief to develop MEP spatial requirements throughout a building on healthcare projects is essential.

Production of calculations, schematics, schedules, layout drawings and specifications for colleagues to review prior to issue on fast-paced projects is required.

Core experience should include:

  • Low Voltage Design using Amtech
  • Internal and External Lighting Design Using Dialux or Relux
  • Cable Containment design
  • Performance Design of Fire Alarm
  • Security and Other Specialist Systems
  • Incoming Services and Infrastructure Design
  • Healthcare project experience
