Role Overview
As a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of electrical building services systems across technically challenging projects. You’ll gain exposure to mission-critical environments where reliability, compliance, and performance are paramount. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, receiving structured mentoring and hands-on project involvement from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of electrical building services systems including:
- Power distribution
- Lighting design
- UPS & standby power systems
- Earthing & lightning protection
- Containment & cable routing
Project Exposure
You will gain experience working on:
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities
- Cleanrooms & laboratory environments
- Mission-critical data centres
- High-spec technical engineering installations
- Regulated and GMP-compliant facilities
Candidate Requirements
- Degree qualified in:
- Electrical Engineering, or
- Building Services Engineering (Electrical bias)
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Placement year or internship experience
