A forward-thinking and rapidly growing building services consultancy based in Cambridge is looking to appoint a Graduate or Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join its expanding MEP design team. The business is known for delivering innovative, sustainable and technically robust building services solutions across a range of high-quality projects.
Working closely with architects, developers, contractors and end clients, the team is involved from early-stage concept design through to detailed design, coordination and delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stage of their electrical building services career who wants to develop quickly within a supportive, technically strong and modern consultancy environment.
As a Graduate / Junior Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of electrical building services systems across a variety of projects. You will work closely with senior engineers and directors, gaining hands-on experience across:
- Lighting design
- Small power
- LV distribution
- Containment
- Fire alarms
- Emergency lighting
- Security systems
- Data/ICT infrastructure
- Calculations
