The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organising, and maintaining all project and operational documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. This role ensures that documents are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to authorised personnel, supporting compliance, quality assurance, and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update document control systems, ensuring all documentation is properly filed, version-controlled, and archived.
- Receive, log, and distribute incoming documents and drawings, ensuring timely delivery to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all documentation meets company formatting standards and complies with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to collect and verify documentation.
- Monitor document workflows and ensure timely review, approval, and release of controlled documents.
- Support audits and inspections by providing accurate and complete document records.
- Train staff on document control procedures and systems as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in document control or administrative roles, preferably in construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, Asite).
