About the Team: The Marketing & Communications function’s purpose is to Protect & Enhance CDP’s Brand, Connecting People to the Purpose through Storytelling, to Drive Sustainable Growth. The Marketing team is responsible for building and stewarding CDP’s brand, developing and delivering campaigns that generate leads and drive audience action to meet organizational objectives, and maintaining high-performance engagement across digital channels.

About this role: The CRM Marketing Manager will have the opportunity to shape and evolve our email marketing strategy, working with a wide range of colleagues to devise approaches that increase audience engagement and action. You’ll play a key role as part of our new Marketing Performance and Enablement team, training colleagues, implementing plans and feeding meaningful data back into the process. Over time, you will support us to develop segmentation models and customer lifecycle plans.

What you will do:

  • You will be responsible for developing and delivering CRM marketing plans, devising and executing activity that drives value by increasing the number of organisations taking action (either by disclosing or signing up to one of our other programmes).
  • Lead the creation, implementation and analysis of CRM marketing campaigns, with a particular focus on email, to CDP’s diverse range of audiences.
  • Evaluate the performance of email marketing activity, deriving and disseminating insights clearly. Identify and implement opportunities to evolve our approach.
  • Build an understanding of our audiences’ behaviour, working with colleagues across Marketing & Communications to build a holistic understanding of people’s interactions with us and the levers for increasing conversion and engagement.
  • Build and maintain subject matter expertise on D365 Marketing and CDP’s use of it, continually seeking opportunities to improve and iterate our plans and set-up.
  • Provide D365 Marketing and CRM Marketing advice to colleagues across the Marketing & Communications function and more broadly, translating marketing and business objectives into clear, measurable plans based on data-driven insights.
  • Develop compelling email content based on best practice, identify opportunities to test, learn and improve.
  • Manage the creation of automated customer journeys, monitoring and reporting on results.
  • Train and support colleagues on the Dynamics 365 marketing functionality, as well as CDP’s processes and guidelines.

We're looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience of driving value through CRM / customer lifecycle marketing for a complex, mission-driven organisation.
  • Experience of superuser-level CRM access, with the ability to train and support others. Experience of using marketing automation applications to run complex mailings, with continued improvement and learning integral to the approach.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and the ability to distil actionable insight from wide-ranging data. Familiarity with a range of marketing analytics tools including Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Google Data Studios.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to support colleagues to create compelling email content.
  • Experience of building brand engagement through email marketing plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships and communicate findings clearly.
  • Experience of delivering B2B email marketing campaigns within a global organization that communicates in multiple languages.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Salary and benefits: The salary banding for this role is £39,525 - £49,407 /year, 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension provision, Employee Assistance Programme, life assurance, training and development, flexible working opportunities and other benefits. Final offer amount depends on multiple factors such as candidates experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. This is a permanent role based at CDP’s London office. Interested applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK and live within a commutable distance of the London office and be comfortable with 2 days in the office per week.
