Location: Sunderland

Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour PAYE

Hours: 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday

Overtime: Limited overtime available, paid at x1.5

We are currently recruiting for a Labourer to join an established engineering operation in Sunderland. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience working in an engineering, manufacturing or workshop environment. FLT Counterbalance experience is highly desirable.

The Role

  • General labouring and housekeeping duties within the engineering workshop
  • Assisting skilled engineers and workshop personnel with day-to-day tasks
  • Moving and handling materials around the workshop
  • Loading and unloading materials where required
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience carrying out general labouring or workshop duties
  • FLT Counterbalance experience/certification desirable
  • A good attitude towards work and a willingness to learn
  • Good awareness of workplace health and safety

What’s on Offer?

  • 12.71 per hour PAYE
  • Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30
  • Days only - no night shifts
