Pre-Heat Technician is responsible for preparing metal components for welding by applying controlled heat to specified temperatures to pipes and plates. This role ensures materials meet required standards to prevent cracking, distortion, or weld defects, contributing to overall product quality and safety.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fabrication, welding, or industrial environment preferred.
- Experience using induction heat.
- Basic understanding of welding processes and heat treatment principles.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Day Shift role working 42 hours per week Monday - Friday. With overtime rates available for any hours worked over 38. £14.50 per hour PAYE with holiday pay accrued for every hour worked.
