An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a successful service, logistics and facilities provider supporting the Oil & Gas and Energy sector. This is a varied, hands-on position combining logistics coordination, warehouse operations and stock control responsibilities within a busy operational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day movement, storage and control of materials whilst working closely with warehouse, logistics and operational teams.

The Role
As Logistics Coordinator, you will support the efficient operation of logistics activities, ensuring materials are handled, stored and dispatched safely and accurately whilst maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse and logistics activities.
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor in the efficient running of warehouse operations.
- Ensure safe loading, unloading and movement of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock control records and inventory systems.
- Prepare and manage dispatch, delivery and warehouse documentation.
- Carry out daily equipment and forklift inspections.
- Ensure products are stored, handled and secured correctly.
- Support logistics operations and material movements across site.
- Liaise with internal teams, clients and third-party providers where required.
- Assist with warehouse maintenance and housekeeping activities.
- Complete operational reports, logs and documentation accurately.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety requirements and quality standards.
- Promote a positive and team-focused working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or materials handling environment.
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence (preferred).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience using stock control systems and warehouse documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT skills.
- Proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
Desirable Experience
- Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Coordinator experience.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, energy, offshore or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory management systems.
- Understanding of LOLER, PUWER and general HSE requirements.
- Experience supporting transport, logistics or warehouse operations.
