We are currently recruiting an Assembly Operative to join a well-established team based in Wallsend. This is a day-shift role offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work on high-quality steel structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Final assembly of steel structures to specification
- Supporting the production team with general workshop duties
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the workshop
- Removing and disposing of packaging materials from the building
- Tidying and Cleaning SIP units on site
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and organised working environment at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in assembly is essential
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Willingness to assist with general duties as required
- Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
