This company is a multi-billion global leader in their industry with a worldwide workforce measuring tens of thousands of people. In recent years they have invested tens of millions of pounds into their North East facility, making it a state of the art centre of excellence, unmatched by any other company anywhere else in the world.
The company is now in a position to recruit Production Operators through CDM Recruitment. Please note that this position is an agency role and you will not be working direct for the company, but you will be on the same salary as direct employees from the moment you start and you will be given the same career development opportunities, as well as receiving ongoing training and development too.
This role will also be long term and stable (we expect a minimum of 3 years work). This company does not recruit agency staff for a short term fix. You will undergo an average of 3 months training when you first start, all the while being paid the full salary for the role. This highlights the company's massive investment in both time and money when they recruit agency staff.
You will be from a production background and be self-motivated with a strong mindset towards health & safety working practices and achieving very high standards of quality. You will work on a continental pattern of days and nights, which are 12 hours, but the shift pattern does not involve working weekends.
- Basic: £18.01 ph
- OT1: £27.02 ph
- OT2: £36.02 ph
- OT3: £54.03 ph
Overtime is generously paid at either time and a half and double time, with bank holidays paid at treble time. The company also pays a yearly bonus based on the company’s performance, which is normally paid in March of each year. This year it was paid at 7% of the basic salary.
