We are currently recruiting for a Labourer to join an established engineering operation in Sunderland. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience working in an engineering, manufacturing or workshop environment. FLT Counterbalance experience is highly desirable.
The Role
- General labouring and housekeeping duties within the engineering workshop
- Assisting skilled engineers and workshop personnel with day-to-day tasks
- Moving and handling materials around the workshop
- Loading and unloading materials where required
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience carrying out general labouring or workshop duties
- FLT Counterbalance experience/certification – desirable
- A good attitude towards work and a willingness to learn
- Good awareness of workplace health and safety
