We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join our production team, specialising in the fabrication of excavator buckets and heavy-duty attachments. You’ll be working with mild steel, carrying out multi-run MIG welds, and producing robust, high-quality components built to withstand tough environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- MIG welding (multi-run) on mild steel plate and structural components
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Operating workshop machinery, tools, and equipment safely
- Ensuring all welds meet quality and safety standards
- Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven MIG welding experience (preferably in heavy fabrication)
- Strong ability to carry out multi-pass runs on mild steel
- Competent in reading fabrication/engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
Shifts and Pay Rates:
Shifts are Mon-Thurs 07.30-16.30 & Fri 07.00-12.00
- Basic 40 hours = £15.22
- 41-45 hours = £19.52
- 45+ = £21.96
