We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabrication Support Operative to join a busy and growing workshop team. This role will involve supporting fabrication and welding activities within a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting fabricators and welders with daily workshop activities
- Operating fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Preparing materials and components for fabrication
- Grinding, notching, cutting, measuring and general workshop duties
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting production targets and quality standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a fabrication or welding workshop
- Experience using fabrication tools and machines
- Ability to read and follow basic engineering drawings is advantageous
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good attention to detail and health & safety awareness
