Sheetmetal Worker

Location: South Shields 💰 Pay Rate: £18 per hour ⏳ Hours: Full-time, Day Shift CDM Recruitment are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established manufacturer in South Shields. This role involves the fabrication of electrical enclosures, working with sheet metal to produce high-quality, precision-engineered products. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Cutting, bending, and forming sheet metal to specifications ✅ Assembling and fabricating electrical enclosures ✅ Reading and interpreting technical drawings ✅ Operating press brakes, guillotines, and other sheet metal machinery ✅ Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards Requirements: 🔹 Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication 🔹 Proficiency in using press brakes and other metalworking machinery 🔹 Ability to read and work from technical drawings 🔹 Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality 🔹 Experience with electrical enclosures is desirable but not essential What’s in it for you? ✔️ Competitive pay at £18 per hour ✔️ Stable, long-term work with an established company ✔️ Supportive team environment ✔️ Opportunity for overtime and career progression
