About the Role: CDM Recruitment is looking for a reliable and proactive Refueller to join a busy workshop and fleet operation. This hands-on role involves keeping vehicles and equipment fully operational, performing refuelling, inspections, and supporting general workshop duties. Key Responsibilities: * Refuel vehicles and equipment, accurately logging fleet numbers, fuel quantities, hours run, and mileage. * Conduct oil, water, and hydraulic checks on vehicles, including battery top-ups for electric vehicles. * Assist with vehicle and plant collection, recovery, and delivery as required. * Support workshop technicians with vehicle preparation and general tasks. * Perform on and off hire inspections according to company guidelines. * Report defective tools, equipment, or plant immediately. * Maintain workshop vehicles and ensure records are up to date via the time scanning system. Skills & Experience Required: * Experience driving multiple types of vehicles. * Knowledge of vehicle maintenance or workshop operations. * Understanding of health and safety regulations. * Experience in customer-focused environments. Qualifications: * LGV 2 (Essential) * ADR Certification desirable * Good level of maths and English Key Attributes: * Team player with good communication skills. * Proactive, flexible, and adaptable. * Able to assess and resolve problems quickly. * Reliable with a strong work ethic. Health & Safety: * Adhere to safety procedures and use PPE as required. * Report hazards, accidents, or near misses immediately. * Follow ISO standards and company health & safety policies.
