Our client, a leader in the offshore energy sector, is seeking experienced Project Engineers to join their Post-Award Engineering team. This is a pivotal role involving project support and departmental mentorship across a variety of high-impact, fast-paced engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading technical deliverables and supporting junior engineers
  • Reviewing specifications and verifying design bases
  • Producing detailed calculation packages covering:
    • Component design (steel tubes, hoses, cables)
    • Structural strength and fatigue assessments, including FEA
    • Manufacturability and installation assessments
    • Operational performance evaluations (thermal, impact, stability)
    • Test procedure development and result interpretation
  • Conducting design reviews, risk assessments, and clarification meetings
  • Ensuring compliance with design rules, standards, and procedures
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and lean initiatives

Requirements:

  • A degree in Mechanical, Subsea, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Significant experience in the offshore energy industry, ideally involving detailed subsea system design.
  • Proven problem-solving ability in high-pressure project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools such as Orcaflex, and Microsoft Office applications advantageous.
