We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join our production team, specialising in the fabrication of excavator buckets and heavy-duty attachments. You will be working with mild steel, carrying out multi-run MIG welds, and producing robust, high-quality components built to withstand tough environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MIG welding (multi-run) on mild steel plate and structural components
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Operating workshop machinery, tools, and equipment safely
  • Ensuring all welds meet quality and safety standards
  • Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

  • Proven MIG welding experience (preferably in heavy fabrication)
  • Strong ability to carry out multi-pass runs on mild steel
  • Competent in reading fabrication/engineering drawings
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual and hard-working

Shifts and Pay Rates:

Shifts are Mon-Thurs 07.30-16.30

15.22 * 41-45 hours = 19.52 * 45+ = 21.96
