A leading UK Engineering Services and Building Services contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their national team. This well-established company delivers high-profile mechanical, electrical, and technology-led projects across a wide range of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, data centres, and more. They have a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and safety.

Role Overview

As Electrical Supervisor, you will take day-to-day responsibility for leading electrical installation teams on live projects throughout the UK. You will ensure all works are delivered safely, to the highest standards, on time, and in full compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing (essential)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (essential)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor / Chargehand within a contracting environment
  • Strong practical knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical installations
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally across the UK
  • Full UK driving licence

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, lead, and mentor electrical site teams on a daily basis
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety procedures, RAMS, and company policies
  • Oversee installation quality, testing, commissioning, and handover
  • Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety on site
  • Support the development of apprentices and junior electricians
