I am currently working on behalf of a well-established regional contractor in their search for a Proposal Coordinator to join their Preconstruction team. This role sits at the heart of their work-winning function, helping to shape high-quality submissions across sectors including health, education, defence and infrastructure. You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of bids — coordinating information, managing documentation, and supporting the production of clear, compelling proposals that showcase the business at its best.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Bid coordination — supporting the preparation of EOIs, PQQs, SQs and tender submissions
- Document management — maintaining trackers, templates and content libraries to ensure accurate, up-to-date information
- Content development — helping shape written responses using standard company information and tailored project detail
- Cross-team collaboration — working closely with Bid Managers, Estimators and operational teams to gather technical input
- Portal management — handling uploads/downloads and ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines
About You
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and enjoys bringing structure and clarity to complex information. You will bring:
- Experience in proposals/bid support within construction or professional services
- Strong organisational skills and confidence managing multiple priorities
- Excellent written communication, with the ability to turn technical detail into clear narrative
- Strong IT capability across Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- InDesign experience (essential) and an understanding of formatting and presentation standards
- Familiarity with procurement portals or bid management systems
- A proactive, team-focused approach with strong attention to detail
Knowledge of construction processes or AI-assisted content tools would be an advantage.
