Internal Sales Executive

CDM Recruitment is recruiting an Internal Sales Executive to join a busy telephone-based sales team. The role combines account management, customer service, order processing and pricing activity, with full training available for someone who has the right commercial attitude and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with a diverse customer base. Handle incoming customer enquiries and process orders. Discuss pricing, quotations and tenders with customers. Identify and maximise new business opportunities. Manage customer accounts through the established sales process. Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment. Maintain high standards of customer care. What We're Looking For Strong telephone communication skills and a professional manner. Customer-focused, commercially aware and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and self-motivated approach. Previous internal sales, telephony sales or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential. Cable/electrical sector experience would be advantageous, although transferable backgrounds will be considered. Package & Benefits This is a full-time, office-based position. Hybrid and remote working are not offered. 22 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service to a maximum of 25 days. Annual pay review. Company pension: 5% employee contribution and 3% employer contribution. Non-contractual scrap bonus after 12 months' service. Non-contractual Christmas bonus after 12 months' service, starting at one week's wage and increasing with length of service. Summer and winter social events. Option of weekly or monthly pay.
