Our client is a long-established, family-owned fabrication company located in Sunderland. They specialise in producing high-quality fabricated products.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a skilled Fabricator to join their busy workshop team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing frames and modular pieces for clients in various sectors including oil & gas and renewables.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating frames and structural/modular components in line with technical drawings
- Accurately assembling and fabricating parts to specification
- Keeping the work area tidy and adhering to health and safety procedures
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working as a Fabricator
- MIG welding experience would be advantageous
- Strong background working with box section, I-beams, and flat bar (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and accuracy in fabrication work
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively within a team
