Are you an experienced electrical professional with a passion for quality, safety, and compliance? We’re looking for a knowledgeable and hands-on Compliance Manager to oversee all aspects of electrical testing, inspection, and engineering compliance within a well-established engineering services firm. In this key role, you’ll work closely with operational teams across all stages of project delivery – from pre-construction through to completion – ensuring the highest standards of installation and compliance are maintained.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as the company’s NICEIC Qualified Supervisor and primary liaison with the NICEIC Area Engineer.
- Carrying out regular site audits to ensure compliance with BS7671 and NICEIC requirements.
- Reviewing and verifying internal and third-party electrical test certification.
- Supporting teams with technical queries, electrical design input, and ensuring robust commissioning and testing practices.
- Managing the upkeep of internal test equipment and overseeing electrical safety in the company’s office environment.
- Contributing to small works project management and supporting the broader business on electrical compliance matters.
What we’re looking for:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- C&G 2391 or equivalent in Inspection, Testing & Certification.
- In-depth knowledge of current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- At least two years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity, with responsibility for technical standards in electrical work.
- Strong communication and documentation skills with an eye for detail.
- A full UK driving licence.
