Are you an experienced electrical professional with a passion for quality, safety, and compliance? We\’re looking for a knowledgeable and hands‐on Compliance Manager to oversee all aspects of electrical testing, inspection, and engineering compliance within a well‐established engineering services firm.
In this key role, you\’ll work closely with operational teams across all stages of project delivery – from pre‐construction through to completion – ensuring the highest standards of installation and compliance are maintained.
What you\’ll be doing:
Acting as the company\’s NICEIC Qualified Supervisor and primary liaison with the NICEIC Area Engineer.
Carrying out regular site audits to ensure compliance with BS7671 and NICEIC requirements.
Reviewing and verifying internal and third‐party electrical test certification.
Supporting teams with technical queries, electrical design input, and ensuring robust commissioning and testing practices.
Managing the upkeep of internal test equipment and overseeing electrical safety in the company\’s office environment.
Contributing to small works project management and supporting the broader business on electrical compliance matters.
What we\’re looking for:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
C&G 2391 or equivalent in Inspection, Testing & Certification.
In‐depth knowledge of current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
At least two years\’ experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity, with responsibility for technical standards in electrical work.
Strong communication and documentation skills with an eye for detail.
A full UK driving licence.
