We are supporting a leading civil engineering contractor in the North East who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of key infrastructure and civils projects. This is a client facing role suited to someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, can lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Oversee full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to handover.
- Site Leadership: Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Programme Management: Monitor progress, update programmes, and mitigate risks proactively.
- Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Looking For
- Proven experience delivering civils or infrastructure projects as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager.
- Strong understanding of groundworks, drainage, utilities, structures, or public realm works.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project performance.
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid; additional civils qualifications are advantageous.
