We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Pipefitter to join their team on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Pipefitter with experience working on manifolds, castings and associated pipework to secure a well-paid role with an established company.
The Role
As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for fitting, assembling and installing pipework, working primarily with manifolds and castings. You will be expected to work accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fitting and assembling pipework and components
- Working with manifolds, castings and associated assemblies
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Measuring, cutting and preparing pipework
- Carrying out accurate fitting and assembly work
- Ensuring all work meets required quality standards
- Working safely and efficiently to meet production deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Pipefitter
- Previous TIG welding experience
- Experience working with manifolds and castings
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong mechanical fitting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications or apprenticeship experience would be advantageous
Shift & Pay
Night Shift: 8:45pm – 6:00am
Working Pattern: 4 shifts per week
Pay Rate: £29.54 per hour inclusive of shift allowance
Overtime is available with this role at enhanced rates based off of the £21.66 basic rate of 1.5x.
