CDM Recruitment is recruiting an Assistant Branch Manager for a long-established, market-leading supplier to support the day-to-day commercial and operational performance of its London depot.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced sales or operations professional who is ready to take greater responsibility for branch performance, people and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities Support the Branch Manager with the day-to-day operational running of the depot and take responsibility when the Branch Manager is absent.

Lead, motivate and support the branch team to achieve commercial and service objectives.

Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.

Support branch-level supplier agreements and commercial activity.

Resolve customer queries, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.

Work closely with the sales team to develop customer accounts and maintain high service levels.

Build strong relationships with key customers and identify opportunities to support sales growth.

What We re Looking For At least 3 years experience within a sales and/or operational role.

Commercial awareness and strong business acumen.

Confidence leading and motivating a team.

Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Strong customer focus and a proactive approach.
