About the Company

Our client is a long-established, family-owned fabrication company located in Sunderland. They specialise in producing high-quality fabricated products.

The Role

An opportunity has become available for a skilled Fabricator to join their busy workshop team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing frames and modular pieces for clients in various sectors including oil & gas and renewables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricating frames and structural/modular components in line with technical drawings
  • Accurately assembling and fabricating parts to specification
  • Keeping the work area tidy and adhering to health and safety procedures

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working as a Fabricator
  • MIG welding experience would be advantageous
  • Strong background working with box section, I-beams, and flat bar (essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in fabrication work
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively within a team

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate of £18.00 per hour, based on a 38-hour working week
  • Overtime available, paid at time and a half and double time
