We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading M&E contractor who is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver a 60-week project near Newmarket. This is a long-term contract role overseeing electrical installation works within a secure, regulated environment. The contractor is delivering a significant upgrade and refurbishment package and is looking for a strong, delivery-focused Project Manager to take full responsibility for the electrical scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full management of electrical installation works from pre-start through to handover
- Coordination of site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Liaison with client representatives and site security teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Programme management, progress reporting, and performance tracking
- Ensuring strict compliance with H&S, RAMS, and site procedures
- Overseeing commissioning, testing, and handover documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the M&E sector
- Strong background delivering commercial, industrial, or secure environment projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and project delivery processes
- SMSTS (essential)
- ECS / CSCS (essential)
