We’re recruiting for a CDM Principal Designer to join a leading global consultancy within the built environment. This role offers exposure to a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial, infrastructure, and public sector projects, providing genuine variety and long-term career development.
You’ll be responsible for delivering Principal Designer duties in line with CDM 2015, managing your own projects, and working closely with clients, designers, and contractors. The role includes design risk reviews, site visits, preparation and review of pre-construction information and construction phase plans, and supporting design safety throughout the project lifecycle.
About you
- At least 1 year’s experience working as a CDM Principal Designer
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and building safety legislation
- Good understanding of design processes and risk management
- Confident communicator with a practical approach to safety
- Membership of IOSH, APS or similar is desirable
What’s on offer
