Project Architect – Residential Focus
Are you an experienced Architect looking to take the next step in your career within a dynamic and supportive team? Our client, a well-established architectural studio in central Newcastle, is seeking a Project Architect to lead and manage a growing portfolio of residential projects.
With multiple new commissions secured, they are looking for an ARB-registered Architect to play a key role in the delivery of high-quality residential developments, from concept to completion.
The Role:
As a Project Architect, you will take ownership of projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing residential projects from inception to completion.
- Overseeing design development, technical detailing, and project coordination.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
- Working across all RIBA stages, with a strong focus on technical delivery.
- Preparing tender applications, construction drawings, and planning submissions.
- Conducting site visits and resolving issues during the construction phase.
The Person:
- ARB registration.
- A minimum of three years post-qualification experience.
- A strong track record in residential architecture, with experience in housing developments, bespoke homes, or mixed-use schemes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for technical design and project delivery.
- The ability to produce detailed Tender and Construction packages.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality residential design.
- Experience with Revit is desirable, but not essential.
