Your role will be to maintain and improve the mechanical integrity of a global asset base, ensuring machinery consistently delivers high-quality output from well-presented and efficiently maintained facilities that exceed customer expectations.
Job Description
- Carry out reactive, planned, preventative, and predictive mechanical maintenance on site equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults across a range of production and process machinery.
- Work extensively with mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, bearings, drives, and rotating equipment.
- Record and communicate maintenance activities accurately via written, electronic, and verbal methods.
- Support production and other departments through effective fault-finding and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Assist with mechanical installation, commissioning, and upgrade projects.
- Take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Review maintenance activities and recommend corrective or improvement actions where required.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with site health, safety, and mechanical engineering standards.
You are suited to this role if you have:
- Completed a time-served mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical engineering and maintenance experience.
- Proven hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical assemblies.
- An HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
