We are working with our client who are a world class manufacturer based in the North East of England. We are assisting the client in the search for a CNC Machinist on a full time, permanent basis.

We are looking for a miller and a turner. You will be responsible for setting, programming and operating machines to produce product of the required quality standards and specification.

Responsibilities
  • Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications
  • Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium
  • Using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier's, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges
  • Increase your knowledge and train on other machining processes
Person Specification
  • A time served CNC Machinist with relevant CNC experience
  • Programming experience
  • Experience of working in a CNC Machining / Industrial Engineering environment
  • Will be willing to learn, pass on knowledge and train others
  • Flexible in their approach – willing to do overtime when required to suit customers’ requirements
