Overview
CDM Recruitment Ltd – Engineering & Manufacturing Specialists is assisting a world-class manufacturer based in the North East of England to recruit a CNC Machinist on a full-time, permanent basis.
Excellent salary £23+ per hour!
We are looking for Millers and a Turners.
Responsibilities
- Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications
- Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium
- Using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier gauges, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges
- Increase your knowledge and train on other machining processes
Qualifications
- A time-served CNC Machinist with relevant CNC experience
- Programming experience
- Experience of working in a CNC Machining / Industrial Engineering environment
- Willing to learn, pass on knowledge and train others
- Flexible in their approach – willing to do overtime when required to suit customers’ requirements
- 3 shift pattern with no weekends
- Pension
- Paid overtime
