We are working with our client who are a successful onshore/offshore company based in Wallsend in their search for a Mechanic. Your role will be maintaining and repairing a range of plant and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair plant and machinery
- Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
- Identify faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
- Keep accurate records of work completed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic working with plant and machinery
- Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications or certifications (preferred)
