About CDL

CDL is one of the UK’s leading InsurTech providers, with more than 600 talented people based at our innovative Stockport campus. We’re recognised for delivering high performance solutions for high volume retail insurance, powering around 65% of price comparison insurance providers across the UK. From telematics and connected home to enrichment and self-service platforms, we’re known for shaping what’s next. Our culture is creative, collaborative, and deeply Agile, and our people are at the heart of everything we do.

We’re looking for an Intermediate Product Designer to help shape these experiences end-to-end. You’ll work on real, customer-facing problems, defining opportunities, exploring solutions, and turning complexity into experiences that feel clear, considered, and usable. You might be improving how people understand their cover, reducing friction in critical journeys, or evolving shared patterns across our platforms. As we learn more about our customers and products, priorities adapt, giving you the chance to work across different problem spaces and grow your impact. This role suits a designer who enjoys variety, thinks critically about problems, and wants their decisions, not just their screens, to make a meaningful difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from early discovery through to delivery and iteration.
  • Contribute to the design quality of high-priority features.
