- Apply user‑centred design principles to create thoughtful solutions grounded in evidence and clear problem statements.
- Explore multiple ideas and approaches, knowing when to broaden exploration and when to focus based on insight and feedback.
- Create and iterate wireframes, prototypes, and design artefacts to communicate ideas, test assumptions, and support decision‑making.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life in a practical, sustainable way.
- Use research and usability testing to validate designs and continuously improve outcomes.
- Contribute to the CDL Design System and help improve consistency and quality across products.
- Work within a fully integrated, AI‑enabled process, using AI tools to support discovery, synthesis, ideation, and delivery as part of everyday design work.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- You can work independently across an end‑to‑end design problem with appropriate support and collaboration.
- You’re comfortable working in ambiguity as problems and constraints evolve.
- You care deeply about understanding user needs and grounding your decisions in research, insight, and data.

- You have strong foundations in interaction design, and user journeys.
- You’re curious about how AI is shaping digital experiences.
- You’re comfortable using AI‑enabled tools as part of your design and research workflow.
- You enjoy working closely with product, engineering, and research partners and actively seek feedback.
