We are looking for a Compliance Auditor to join our team at CDL to assist in the development and operation of the CDL compliance program. The role supports the compliance team in maintaining policies, conducting audits, and reporting on compliance.
Location: North West UK - Hybrid
Compensation: £30,000 - £40,000 per year
What You’ll Do:
- Work across business areas to review, assess, and advise on actions to ensure corporate compliance issues are resolved.
- Participate in reviews and development of company policies to address relevant regulations and contractual obligations.
- Maintain direct contact with management, internal and external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Management system audit – assist in monitoring and conducting internal audits of policies, procedures, and obligations for third-party certifications such as PCI-DSS, ISO standards, and client contractual obligations.
- Certification audit support – engage with certification audit suppliers to organise and facilitate audit processes (e.g. ISO, SOC).
- Policy development – assist in developing and implementing written policies and procedures supporting the management systems required for ISO and other standard certifications.
- Reporting – deliver reports on compliance processes and status.
- Continual improvement – identify potential improvements in policies and procedures.
- Breach response – respond promptly and advise corrective action to emerging compliance breaches.
- Advice and support – assist in responding to internal and external requests for statements and audits of CDL processes and compliance.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Educated to A Level or Degree standard.
- Relevant domain qualifications desirable (e.g. ISO auditor/implementer, GDPR).
- Experience in the insurance/financial data sector an advantage.
- Experience with compliance automation platforms such as Drata and Vanta, and support management tools such as ServiceNow.
- Experience working within relevant regulations and standards (PCI-DSS, ISO, SOC 2, Data Protection legislation).
- Experience with FCA regulations relating to insurance, consumer legislation, codes of practice and anti-bribery legislation an advantage.
- Computer literacy – proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Word and Excel.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate across disciplines at all levels, with external bodies and senior management.
