CDL Recruitment are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Van Drivers for its clients operation based in Marshfield SN14.
Monday to Friday
£12.71ph + £10 per day discretionary bonus.
Typical Working Day
The working day typically starts at around 6:30am, beginning with a comprehensive vehicle safety check to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, legal and ready for work.
Once the vehicle check is complete, the day's activities will vary depending on operational requirements. This may include:
Loading bins ready for deliver.
Preparing containers for delivery, ensuring they are clean, suitable, and ready for the customer to use
Travelling to customer locations to collect waste bags
Collecting, delivering, and exchanging containers at customer sites
Carrying out other operational duties as required
We operate across an area within approximately a 50-mile radius, so the role involves regular travel and a varied working environment. No two days are the same, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules, locations and workloads is an important part of the position.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
Physically fit and active, with the ability to undertake a hands-on role throughout the working day.
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work varied hours and respond to changing operational requirements.
Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to manage their workload effectively.
Comfortable working independently, as a significant proportion of the working day will be spent working alone.
Organised and responsible, with a strong focus on vehicle safety, compliance and completing tasks to a high standard.
Comfortable with regular travel, including driving within an approximately 50-mile operating radius.
Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
This is a varied and active role that would suit someone who enjoys working independently, being out on the road and having a different working day.
