We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fire Stopper to join their team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work on a range of commercial and residential projects, ensuring all fire protection systems are installed to the highest safety and compliance standards.

Typical working hours are 07:00 - 15:00, though this may vary depending on the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install fire-stopping materials such as fire-rated seals, boards & coatings to walls, floors, and service penetrations.
  • Inspect and assess fire-stopping systems to ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and fire safety standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and fire safety reports.
  • Perform remedial works to rectify non-compliant fire-stopping installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including photographic evidence and compliance documentation using reporting system.
  • Work with other technicians to ensure project delivery and customer sign offs.
  • Adhere to all health & safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE.
