For over 20 years, CDL has been a trusted partner to transport and warehouse businesses, delivering reliable staffing solutions across Bristol and the surrounding areas. We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our valued client based in Avonmouth on a temp-to-perm basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods across the southwest. Immediate start available.
This position is an average of 45 hours per week, on a 4 days on, 2 days off rota. Overtime is available in addition to a performance based quarterly bonus - OTE £35,000.
Key Responsibilities- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Delivering and installing products including washing machines, dishwashers and TVs (full training and tools provided)
- Providing a professional, friendly service to customers
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Planning routes and navigating efficiently while adhering to all road traffic laws
- Loading and unloading goods safely
- Full UK driving licence (Category C1 or C) with no more than 6 penalty points
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries
