We are currently looking for experienced class 2 HIAB Drivers to support a busy builders merchant in Bristol and the surrounding areas on an ad-hoc, flexible basis. This role is ideal for drivers looking for part-time or supplementary work, offering varied shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a HIAB-equipped vehicle to deliver building materials to residential and commercial sites
- Load and unload goods using the HIAB crane in line with health & safety regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Provide excellent customer service on delivery
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 (Category C or C+E) licence
- Valid HIAB certification with relevant attachments
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a builders merchant environment
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
- Flexible and reliable with good communication skills
