We are looking for a reliable forklift driver with experience to join our clients team based in Yate, Bristol. This is a hands-on role involving picking orders, receiving deliveries and loading lorries whilst taking care to look after products and follow safety procedures. This is a temp to perm role, operating on a rotating shift pattern:

  • Week 1 (Morning Shift): 5:00am - 2:00pm
  • Week 2 (Late Shift): 1:00pm - 10:00pm

Your duties will include:

  • Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload timber products.
  • Picking and preparing customer orders accurately.
  • Loading customer and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Moving stock around the yard and warehouse.
  • Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties as required.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Candidates must:

  • Have previous forklift truck operating experience (a current licence is not essential).
  • Be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport due to the location and shift times.
  • Be dependable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Be committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
